Elden Ring: A colossal DLC revealed by datamining?

The GOTY battle promises to be tough between Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok, but unlike the last game of the god of war, the title of From Software has not yet revealed all its secrets and could soon be enriched with a massive DLC. Traces of this new content were found in the last patch, and dataminers have had a blast digging into the lines of code of this update to find even more information.

A bunch of new bosses to take down?

Everything found has been shared on Reddit, and it can be seen that datamining has found 30 boss “flags”, which determine boss locations. It is explained that this does not necessarily mean 30 additional bossesbut we can expect a lot of new epic clashes.

Among other details found, 16 new NPCs seem to be in the game, new haircuts are listed, along with six new weapon categories. A new dungeon has been found, while the maps of the divine towers have been modified, with the appearance of the famous Colosseum map.

We will take all this information with a grain of salt, since even if these elements are present in the game files, it is not certain that they all see the light of day. We are therefore awaiting the official announcement of this DLC, crossing our fingers that Geoff Keighley will tell us about it during the Game Awards in a month.
