Following the release of Elden Ring, which was very widely acclaimed, many players, not necessarily Souls lovers, tried the adventure, asking themselves a multitude of questions as they progressed in this fantastic world, but oh so dangerous and punitive. One of the frequently asked questions is if it is possible to pause Elden Ring.
Can Elden Ring be paused?
The answer, as you must have seen for yourself, is unfortunately no. It is not possible to pause Elden Ring, as is the case in almost all games developed by FromSoftware. This adds a touch of difficulty, which obviously does not please everyone, especially neophytes of the genre, who would like to have a little more calm and security, when it is necessary, for example, to store their inventory.
However, be aware that if you are a PC gamer, it is possible, through a mode, to pause Elden Ring. Thanks to the work of TechieW, a mod is indeed available for download via NexusMods, which, once installed, allows you to simply pause the game. However, this one will ask you to deactivate the anti-cheat (which is Easy Anti-Cheat), and therefore force you to play offline, which is not necessarily better. On console, given the impossibility of adding mods, it is, no matter what, cannot pause Elden Ring.
