Elden Ring: Bandai Namco is mobilizing for Ukraine!

The crisis in Ukraine continues and many players in the video game industry continue to mobilize to help the country’s population. Several types of decisions have been taken by the companies, such as the withdrawal of certain games in Russia or the collection of funds in aid of the Ukrainians.

Itch.io, a site selling indie games, had also recently put on sale a pack of 1000 games for 10€, all the profits of which will be donated to humanitarian associations.

100 million yen

It is now bandai namco who brings his stone to the building by donating an astronomical sum to an association helping the Ukrainian population.

Tweet Translation : “The Bandai Namco group has decided to donate 100 million yen (approximately €773,000) to the Save The Children association in support of their cause, which is to help people affected by the crisis in Ukraine and in search of a refuge outside the country. We hope that the people and communities affected by this crisis can soon experience more peaceful days.”

Save the Children is a British association which, at the moment, helps Ukrainian families who have fled the country and are in need of shelter and food. Besides that, the association aims to provide access to education and housing to children in difficulty.

Elden Ring still available in Russia?

Bandai Namco has decided not to take action against Russia, and not to withdraw its games there…for now. Elden Ring, the company’s great success at the start of the year, will therefore remain available in Russia.

Bandai Namco’s donation will undoubtedly be a great help for the humanitarian association and represents a real commitment from the brand.
