Even though Demons Souls, Bloodborne and the Dark Souls have a huge community of fans, it must be recognized that sales are never exceptional. Dark Souls IIIthe most popular, thus had 10 million copies sold after several years of operation, but Elden Ring makes everyone agree.
The open-world role-playing game launched on February 25 on computers and home consoles, and less than a month later it had sold over 12 million copies. A number that has continued to climb, bandai namco reveals in its latest financial statement thatElden Ring now has 13.4 million copies sold on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
An impressive figure that only takes into account sales made before March 31, 2022in other words that it will continue to evolve in the coming months, why not reach 20 million copies sold by the end of the year, especially if FromSoftware uses unused areas of the game to introduce future DLCs.
