A while ago, The Last of Us Part II, developed by Naughty Dog and released in June 2020, held the title of “most awarded game”. However, this is no longer the case. The latest software from the FromSoftware development studio, Elden Ring, broke this record.
More than 330 awards for Elden Ring
Indeed, according to a publication on RestEra, Elden Ring cumulatesat the time of this writing, 331 awards in total : 287 were attributed by the specialized press and 44 by the players. Which is rather impressive, you will certainly agree.
As said before, The Last of Us Part II held the record so far with 322 accolades. In this regard, recently, Elden Ring was voted “Game of the Year” at the Steam Awards 2022. A title also won at the Game Awards 2022.
As a reminder, at the beginning of December last year, Elden Ring hosted the free Colosseum DLC. Thanks to this additional content, players can now compete via several game modes (Squad, Duel, etc.), and this in three Coliseums (Limgrave, Leyndell, Caelid).
