A little over a year ago was released Elden Ring, last game of FromSoftware who took the bet of the open worldwhile keeping what made the success of Dark Souls : a daunting artistic direction, a cryptic scenario and a gameplay demanding. The success was there, the title has more than 20 million copies sold on computers and home consoles.
And to celebrate this first anniversary, the publisher bandai namco today shares an infographic with a bunch of interesting numbers. We thus learn that Malenia, the Sword of Miquella is the most challenged boss with 329 million duelsfollowed by Margit the Fallen, the first real obstacle of the adventure, with 281 million fights. During their games, players died 8.9 billion times, 69% of the time from enemies and NPCs14% due to falls and only 2% from other players’ hands, the pvp remaining a niche mode. On the spell side, it’s the overpowered Sling which was thrown the most, while players got the incantation en masse Blessing of the World Treeto unearth however far enough in the adventure.
