Meeting Melina for the first time
In order to have access to gaining levels and increasing the statistics of his character, you need to meet a certain NPC. It is, more precisely, Melina. She acts as a guide and often appears near grace sites. Besides, it is important, and even essential, to meet her as soon as possible, from the start of your game. It is she who will allow you to unlock the line ” Level up “.
So, to meet Melina at the start of your game, you will need to visit and activate three grace sites different. Rest assured, it’s quite simple and there are plenty of them in the world of Elden Ring.
Accept Melina’s request
Once you activate the third Grace Site, resting there, a cutscene introducing Melina will appear on screen. Accept his request and you will now be able to level up and improve your stats. Declining Melina’s quest has no consequences, as she will reappear at the next Grace Site, repeating her offer.
