Already in Dark Souls, it is possible to kill NPCs or merchants. However, sometimes this act has great consequences for the rest of the adventure. Then you might have regrets and wish you hadn’t done this. In Elden Ring, it is also plausible. Fortunately, the developers have thought of everything: it is possible to revive dead NPCs and reset the hostility they have towards youby going to a specific place and in exchange for a rare item.
So, if you have killed an NPC in Elden Ring and you want to fix your mistake, we show you, in the following, the procedure to follow to revive it. Note that if you revive a character, it will not remember that you killed it and will not show any animosity towards you.
Revive NPCs, tips
Location: The Church of Wishes (Liurnia)
In order to revive a character and clear their enmity for you, in Elden Ring, you will have to go to a very specific place in the second region, Liurnia. However, to access this area, you will first need to have beaten Margit and Godrick at the Château de Voilorage.
If that is the case, meet at the Church of the Vows, in Liurnia. The image available below indicates the exact location of the place of particular interest to us. There, you can meet Miriel, the Priest Turtle. But you will have to pay your attention to another element, which is located next to it, at the bottom of the dilapidated church.
Indeed, a little further, you can see a fountain. When interacting with the statue in front of you, a message will appear. If you have caused no harm to any NPC, the statue will indicate that you have no sins to absolve. On the other hand, if you have killed a character and want to revive him, you will need to have a very specific object.
Item needed: Celestial Dew
Indeed, reviving an NPC is possible provided that you have a rare and important item. This is the consumable called The Celestial Dew. This object is not easy to find, however. In the underground region of Ainsel, you can find them. Otherwise, you will have to approach certain merchants, selling the said item.
