The major runes are important elements in Elden Ring. By recovering them, restoring them and activating them, it is thus possible to unlock more or less significant bonuses. The first that we were able to recover is that of Godrick the Grafted. Therefore, here are some tips for recovering it and enjoying its benefits.

Confrontation against the first boss of the game
There is no secret : in order to recover the major rune of Godrick, you will have to face said boss. Indeed, by killing him, you will automatically recover his major rune. As a reminder, Godrick the Grafted is to be found in the Château de Voilorage, after Margit the Fallen.
Its major rune is probably the most interesting in the game. By restoring it to a specific location, equipping it at a grace site and activating it using a runic bow, you will get +5 in Stamina, Stamina, Strength, Spirit, Dexterity, Faith and Arcane. Please note that this bonus is only active for a certain period of time. If you die, you lose the benefits and you will have to use a runic bow again to benefit from it.
Voilorage Castle Divine Tower
So after killing Godrick you will get the major rune. While not every major rune in the Elden Ring needs to be restored, this one does. To do this, you will have to go to a very specific place, either in the divine tower of the Château de Voilorageaccessible via a teleporter portal on a dilapidated bridge.
The exact location is shown in the image above. However, we invite you to be careful: the first part of the bridge is guarded by three stone giants. You can circumvent them or confront them, as you wish. On the other hand, once you have used the teleporter portal, all that remains is to climb to the top of said tower. There, you can restore the Major Godrick Rune, then equip it at a Grace Site.
