Elden Ring: Self-made robot takes over tiresome farming

ELDEN RING

Elden Ring not only makes life difficult for you because of strong opponents, but also because of a lack of runes. To change that quickly, a player built a robot.

  • A player has built a robot that does the farming of runes for him.
  • This consists mainly of cardboard, cables and foam.
  • But there is another way to get runes quickly.

In order to become stronger in the Elden Ring and to further expand your level, you need runes. Farming these can get boring quickly. That’s probably what a Reddit user thought too, who quickly made a way to avoid having to do the hard work himself.

On Reddit, the post of user IZICA, which presented his own collecting robot for Elden Ring, gained attention. The post has since been deleted, but showed how a construction made of cardboard and cables automatically collected the runes.

The robot that plays for you

For example, the device in Mohgwyn Palace collects the runes for the user by walking forward, performing an area attack, and returning to the campfire. The Albinaurics killed in this way drop a number of runes that can then be used to increase the level.

Although the focus of the article was on the user’s passion for tinkering with devices themselves, the result is fascinating. In a way, it is a kind of cheat, which cannot be recognized by anti-cheat programs, since they can only detect external software.

Collecting runes made easy

If you also lack runes, you can easily collect them yourself without robots. We also have an overview of the best farm spots with which you can quickly collect 300,000 runes in 10 minutes.
