Presented as a “formidable enemy with unfathomable power”, the enemy is already exciting fans and theories are flying around on social networks. The most credible would be that this monster is Godwyn the Goldendemigod and brother of Mohg And Morgottof the Forsaken. The monster above indeed sports tentacular horns, present in the others Forsaken. Good, Godwyn the Golden died before the events ofElden Ringmurdered during the Night of the Black Knives by the latter. If some Internet users point out that his face can be seen at the bottom of the Voilorage Castleothers think that it is only a manifestation of the Malemort linked to his assassination and that his soul, or his body, is waiting patiently elsewhere. At Shadow Realmtheater of Shadow of Erdtree ? It remains to be seen what the link is with Messmer the Impalerbig villain of this additional content.

FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki have fun as always teasing the players, but you will have to wait until June 21, the release date of the extension, to get some answers…or at least tracks, Elden Ring having a cryptic lore and subject to interpretation, like all games from the Japanese studio.
