The additional content promises to be daunting, millions of players can’t wait to get their hands on it, but in the meantime, the English-speaking press delivers its verdict.
Generally, the ratings of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree are excellent, often perfect even. The journalists appreciated the artistic direction of the different environments, the gameplay always as satisfying, the lore which gains in depth and the new weapons which reshuffle the cards. However, Eurogamer did not enjoy his trip to Shadow Realmhighlighting areas that are too large and empty, messages that are too explicit left by the developers and a poorly balanced final boss.
