Electra opens an ultra-fast charging station in Paris

As we know, the big downside of electric cars is not so much their reduced range compared to internal combustion vehicles as the availability of charging infrastructure, on the one hand, and charging times, on the other. To partially respond to this problem, the Indigo group and Electra are inaugurating the first ultra-fast charging station in inner Paris.

Located in the Indigo car park at Porte d’Italie, this charging station has four charging points. In addition to being the first fast charging station in an underground park accessible to the general public, it is also the first fast charging station in the capital. Capable of offering up to 150 kW of power, it should allow most electric vehicles to go from 20 to 80% energy in about thirty minutes.

Via the Electra application, the user of the station will be able to reserve his terminal remotely, recharge his vehicle and pay for his electricity and parking consumption. The terminal is also compatible with the ChargeMap pass and accepts, a priori, payment by credit card. Above all, it has a competitive price of €0.44/kWh.

Electra charging station 150 kW Paris

From December 13, 2022 to March 31, 2023 inclusive, for any charge of at least 45 min reserved on the Electra app, the operator offers 45 min of parking (€3), directly deducted from the charge price.

Finally, after this first pilot station, Indigo and Electra declare that they want to continue their partnership by deploying 16 ultra-fast stations in 11 cities, including 7 in Île-de-France.

Address of the station: level -1 of the Indigo Paris Porte d’Italie car park, 18-20, avenue de la Porte d’Italie, 75013 Paris.
