The German distribution brand Lidl, which already offers charging stations in the car parks of some of its supermarkets, will open a new hub of terminals dedicated to electric vehicles in Villefranche-sur-Saône, about thirty kilometers north of Lyon .
One of the particularities of this e-station, which will open at the end of November, will be to offer 13 parking spaces equipped with accelerated, fast and ultra-fast charging sockets. The latter will be capable of delivering 360 kW, the most powerful load on the market with that provided by Kallista Energy, located between Douains and Vernon, near the A13. Such power allows, on paper, to recover 100 km of autonomy in three minutes. These terminals, covered with photovoltaic panels, will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and compatible with Chargemap, although, on the appropriate application, Lidl’s future e-station has not yet been identified.
The distributor intends to deploy a total of one 360 kW charging point, eight 180 kW points and four points delivering 22 kW. The prices revealed on the site News Lyon at the moment are:
€0.4/kWh for 360 kW.
€0.4/kWh for 180 kW.
€0.25/kWh for 22 kW.
If these prices are maintained, they are very well placed insofar as, excluding subscription, it takes €0.69/kWh to charge on an Ionity terminal, €0.98/kWh at Allego or even €0.67/ kWh on Tesla Superchargers.
Remember, however, that, for the moment, no electric car sold in France is able to withstand such a charge. Even Audi e-tron GTs or Porsche Taycans stop at 270 kW.
