Electric cars with a long range and eligible for the ecological bonus

To replace the main vehicle in your household, it is advisable to move towards vehicles capable of covering good distances, especially outside city centers. For this, we will obviously target cars eligible for the ecological bonus as a priority, allowing the bill to be lowered by €5,000.

Impossible not to mention the small compact crossover of the Sino-British brand MG Motors. The MG4 landed in our region recently, but is already a great success. Unsurprisingly, its particularly aggressive price helps it greatly since for €33,990, in the Comfort finish, the compact offers 450 km of WLTP autonomy thanks to its 204 horsepower engine and 64 kWh battery. In addition, the fast charge of up to 140 kW allows it to approach motorway journeys serenely.

For 2000 € more, the MG4 is delivered in Luxury finish, increasing the endowment of a heat pump, 360° cameras and a route planner, in addition to comfort and aesthetic features.

The most affordable car from the American manufacturer is unsurprisingly included in this selection. In the basic Propulsion version, it is displayed at €41,990 for a WLTP autonomy of 491 km, but the most interesting version is the new Grande Autonomie Propulsion, combining a large battery and a “small” motor to reach the 620 km WLTP. The latter, however, remains quite difficult to find. Impossible to configure it as you see fit, but the quality/price ratio of this large sedan displayed at €45,990 in the best cases makes it a must-have on which you have to decide quickly before stocks run out.

Obviously, the top-of-the-range services, the large size of this spacious sedan and the Tesla ecosystem with the quality integrated planner and the network of Superchargers, will facilitate a first contact with electricity.

Sold from €46,990, this VZ XL version stands out from the basic model with its engine pushing up to 230 horsepower (against 204 horsepower) and its large 77 kWh battery allowing it to claim 550 km WLTP. This compact GTI style comes to hunt on the lands of Renault’s Megane E-Tech, arguing for more sportiness and autonomy for a price still below the €47,000 mark, which allows you to benefit from the maximum ecological bonus.

Quite confidential, the Cupra Born still remains in the shadow of its sister, the Volkswagen ID.3, with which it shares many elements. However, its quality/price ratio with this large battery make it a must if you are looking for a nice compact to transport the whole family.

The small Swedish crossover signs Volvo’s offensive on the electric mid-range. Displayed from €37,500 in the Start finish, you must add €4,200 to enjoy the configuration with a motor and 69 kWh battery, bringing the total to €41,700. Too bad that the superior finishes (Plus and Ultra) with this battery exceed the fateful bar of 47,000 €, but Volvo still offers a relevant alternative.

Still quite confidential, the Volvo EX30 Single Motor Extended Range represents a great proposition for anyone looking for a premium compact capable of venturing onto the highway; especially since with 272 horsepower and Google Automotive to plan the refills, the EX30 becomes very interesting.

For people looking for a more spacious car, Volvo offers its XC40, which is more family-friendly, but at €46,990 in the Essential finish, the SUV ignores the convenience options that are essential today for the car. like parking aids (radar and camera).

The French compact enjoys a pleasing price/quality ratio, once again, for motorists looking for a compact. Stylish, the bet of a mix between Renault and Google Automotive hits the mark and offers a welcoming on-board experience for first-time buyers. It will however be necessary to opt for the Techno finish invoiced 2500 € more, but adding in particular the heat pump, the Google infotainment and the 20-inch rims.

From €42,000 for the basic version and €44,500 for the Techno finish, the Mégane E-Tech does not have to blush in the face of competition embodied by Volkswagen or Cupra with their ID.3 and Born.

The only model from the South Korean manufacturer eligible for the maximum ecological bonus, the Kia Niro EV is an electric crossover which claims 455 km of WLTP autonomy for an access price set at €45,640 with a nice standard endowment. Unfortunately, his SUV build and his load of only 72 kW do not make his life easier on long journeys, forcing him to multiply the stops of 43 minutes to go from 10 to 80%.

As the best-selling car of the year, the Tesla Model Y treats its entry with a Propulsion version claiming 455 km WLTP; like the Model 3, it relies on its performance and the Tesla ecosystem to attract customers wishing to take the plunge. Its premium features and very impressive trunk volume easily explain its success with families looking for their main car before going on vacation.

For €45,990, the Model Y Propulsion benefits from the ecological bonus and, as usual with the manufacturer, it is possible to get your hands on new models, ready for delivery and with an additional discount.
