(CercleFinance.com) – Electrolux reports that its net sales amounted to SEK 125.6 billion in 2021, up 8% from the previous year.
EBIT 2021 was SEK 6.8 billion, up 18% compared to 2020. In the end, Electrolux recorded an annual profit of SEK 4.67 billion, up 17%, or EPS of SEK16.31.
On the other hand, the 4th quarter turned out to be more mixed: while sales (35.3 billion SEK) increased by 4% compared to the 4th quarter of 2020, EBIT fell by 65% (882 MSEK), while the profit fell by 68%, to 596 MSEK.
“We expect the first quarter of 2022 to be as challenging as the fourth quarter of 2021, with significant risks of disruptions related to the resurgence of the coronavirus,” said Jonas Samuelson, chief executive officer of Electrolux. ‘We expect sequential improvements from mid-2022.’
