Pascal Obispo accused of mistreating the original show in an incendiary press release

Élie Chouraqui, director of the musical presented in 2000, published an inflammatory press release on his Instagram account in which he accuses Pascal Obispo of mistreating the original show. “No, the show called The 10 Commandments, the desire to love scheduled for 2024 will have nothing to do with the show The ten Commandments created in 2000″, he warns on Instagram. He adds : “It will NEITHER be a reprise NOR a return, and will have nothing to do with the original show apart from the songs which will be re-recorded with a new cast.”. After highlighting the work of the artists from the first version of the show, such as Kamel Ouali, Sonia Rykiel and Gian Tito, the director says he “unworthy” faced with such a project.
