Unfortunately for her, the adventurer was eliminated at the end of the episode broadcast on Friday April 2, 2021. Extremely surprised by this eviction, Candice returned to her departure alongside Denis Brogniart on Saturday April 3, 2021, live on Instagram. The young candidate took the opportunity to be self-deprecating about his strategy regarding his immunity collar, which she did not use to save herself.
“I did not come to Koh-Lanta for survival. I came above all for the sporting challenge and the strategy. I wanted to test myself against that. I made a monumental failed attempt at strategy with this beautiful necklace. I’m all up there strategy,“ she said, laughing at herself. However, Candice was still quite bitter about the way she was eliminated. “I feel disappointment for being too nice and frustration.” she added. For the record, the adventurer had chosen to show her immunity collar to Laure, but also to Maxine, who is in a relationship with a famous French sportsman. Unfortunately for her, the latter convinced him not to play his collar in the council, by assuring her that she was not in danger, before voting against her.

Subsequently, Denis Brogniart revealed that Candice was especially anxiously awaiting the individual trials of Koh Lanta. “I had trained a lot for months, even years. It’s a big blow. When I left for Koh-Lanta, I had not even imagined the possibility of returning before reunification. (…) It was maybe a little ambitious. “ she confessed to the host, who recently defended the show’s adventurers against accusations from the PETA France association. “I really didn’t think social would be a problem for me.” concluded Candice, who will therefore not have had the opportunity to demonstrate her full potential within the TF1 program.
