Elipson Heritage XLS 11: a hi-fi speaker with retro taste

The Heritage XLS 11 from the French brand Elipson inherit the vintage design of their big sisters, the Heritage XLS 15, by adopting a retro look reminiscent of the heyday of hi-fi in the 70s. the very design of its new speakers but they seem to retain the wood fiber panels with internal reinforcements of the Heritage XLS 15.

The Heritage XLS 11 differ from the Heritage XLS 15 by their more compact proportions with a volume of 56 x 32 x 27 cm and a weight of 17 kg compared to 73 x 42 x 33.9 cm and 28 kg. Two metal feet can be purchased as an option (€299 all the same) in order to raise the speakers by 22 cm and tilt them at an angle of 5°.

The two models differ in the size of the woofer, which goes from 30 cm on the Heritage XLS to 15 cm and 21 cm on the Heritage XLS 11. However, it is still made of cellulose pulp and comes with a vent. bass reflex. On the upper left, the Heritage XLS 11 also have two potentiometers for adjusting the level of the mids and highs with an amplitude of 2 dB.
