PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The industrial laundry group Elis announced on Thursday that it has completed an issue of bonds convertible into and/or exchangeable for new and/or existing shares (Oceanes) maturing in September 2029, from qualified investors, for a nominal amount of 380 million euros.

“The net proceeds of the issue will be allocated to the partial refinancing of the outstanding Oceanes maturing on October 6, 2023”, while “the remainder of the net proceeds of the issue will be used to finance the general needs of the company”, Elis said in a statement.

These Oceanes, with a nominal unit value of 100,000 euros, will bear interest at the annual rate of 2.25%. The conversion premium was set at 42.50% compared to the reference price of the Elis share, the group said.

Settlement-delivery of the bonds is scheduled for September 22.

At the same time, Elis also announced the partial buyback of its outstanding Oceanes maturing on October 6, 2023 for a nominal amount of €200 million.
