Prince Harry’s affair rumors are “absolutely ridiculous”

Elizabeth Hurley has once again denied rumors that she deflowered Prince Harry. The speculations are absurd and ridiculous.
Prince Harry’s (39) memoir “Spare” (German title: “Reserve”) caused a stir last year. Among other things, the royal talks about sex and drug experiences in his autobiography. He lost his virginity at the age of 17 in a field behind a pub. It was an older woman with whom he had sex. She treated him like a “young stallion” and then sent him away with a slap on the bottom. Afterwards, the rumor mill was bubbling and there was speculation about the woman’s identity. Model and actress Elizabeth Hurley (58) was also included in the circle of possible women who could have deflowered the royal. In a new interview, Hurley commented on the rumors again.

“That was hair-raising,” replied the 58-year-old according to People on the show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in response to a fan’s question. She added of Harry and the speculation: “He said: ‘She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And the conclusion was drawn: ‘Ah, that’s Elizabeth.'” It was “absurd and ridiculous,” Hurley added. “It was like saying, ‘He looks great. He’s American.’ Oh, it’s Andy Cohen.” The Brit also said about Harry: “I’ve never met him in my life.” Hurley had already commented on the passage in the autobiography in December 2022, shortly before the book was published in January 2023. Later, former Highgrove employee Sasha Walpole explained in an interview with “The Sun on Sunday”that she should be the woman from the book. The encounter took place in July 2001 at a party for her 19th birthday. Harry is said to have been not 17 but 16 years old at the time. “The sex was passionate and exciting because we shouldn’t have done it,” Walpole said. “One thing just quickly led to another. But we were both drunk. It wouldn’t have happened if we hadn’t been. It was just a moment of passion – spontaneous, wild, exciting.” For her, the royal was not Prince Harry at that moment. “It was Harry, my friend.” She also emphasized: “I would never have talked about it if the book hadn’t been published.”
