For the first time, Ellie Goulding posted a photo of her son on Instagram. In her story she revealed why she was “nervous” about it.

On Thursday (November 4th) Ellie Goulding (34, “Love Me Like You Do”) presented a photo of her son Arthur Ever Winter Jopling for the first time on the social media platform Instagram. In a related story, the British singer revealed why she made this step “nervous” in advance.

Ellie Goulding “doesn’t want to expose her child to the world of social media”

“I decided not to expose him to the social media world,” Goulding told her followers. She was “particularly nervous” before the post of the picture in which she is holding her little boy in her arms – even if you can see “only the back of his head”. “My feelings about this are very strong,” wrote the 34-year-old, adding in brackets: “I think it is his decision when he is older!” The musician also described herself as “extremely protective” in relation to her mother role.

The reason for Ellie Goulding’s Instagram post is the United Nations World Climate Conference currently taking place in Glasgow, Scotland. In addition to her mother-son snapshot, the “Lights” interpreter wrote: “I’m on my way to the UN climate conference today. Our future generations shouldn’t have to inherit a broken planet because we didn’t use the opportunity to repair it when we could! LET’S GO !!! “

Goulding gave birth to their first child last April. Little Arthur Ever Winter’s father is her husband, the art dealer Caspar Jopling (29). The couple has been married since September 2019.
