Breast surgery was "life-saving" for the actor

Actor Elliot Page is finally feeling good in his body. In the course of his transgene outing, he had his breasts removed.
Elliot Page (34, "Juno") made a "not only life-changing, but life-saving" decision. The actor, who came out as transgender in December last year, had his breasts removed surgically. At the time he was showing the real self to the public on social media, he was recovering from the procedure in Toronto, Canada. He now told the American "Time" magazine, whose cover he was allowed to decorate as the first transgender person.
"I wanted to be a boy"
The operation finally made it possible for the 34-year-old to see himself in the mirror, said Page. "It changed my life completely." The actor had been struggling with his ego in the wrong body since he was a child. He remembered cutting off his hair at the age of nine and "feeling like a boy. (…) I wanted to be a boy.
