In an interview with the Purepeople.com site, former Miss France Elodie Gossuin, who now works as a host, revealed how she fights her phobia of flying on Friday August 19, 2022.
Revealed to the general public when she succeeded Sonia Rolland as the most beautiful woman in France, Elodie Gossuin did not only win the title of Miss France in 2001. Indeed, that year, the young beauty queen was also elected Miss Europe. A feat that Alexandra Rosenfeld managed to repeat in 2006. Since then, Elodie Gossuin embarked with some success on a career as a radio and television host. After officiating in the morning of RFM for 7 long years, the presenter decided to leave the station at the end of the last season.
Exhausted by the offbeat rhythm of life imposed by a morning, Elodie Gossuin now wants to recharge her batteries alongside her family. At the same time, the host will continue to present the various programs that she embodies on the group’s antennas M6. If the spectators have long been able to hear the voice of Elodie Gossuin on the radio, it is in the cinema that they will soon be able to listen to it. In effect, the former Miss France lends her voice to the animated film entitled Tad the Explorer and the Emerald Tablewhich will soon be released in theaters. As part of the cartoon promotion, the presenter gave an interview to the site Purepeople.com Friday August 19, 2022.
Elodie Gossuin: “I don’t have a phobia of emptiness, of insects, but I have a phobia of airplanes”
During this interview, Elodie Gossuin revealed one of her biggest phobias, but also how she manages to overcome her fear. “In an adventure honestly, insects, animals, it’s pretty much fine. Except by surprise, it’s always unpleasant, or else in your sleeping bag, you don’t check the sleeping bag, you left the tent open and you got a scorpion, it happened to me, it’s extraordinary. I have an unrelated phobia, and it’s kind of ridiculous. I don’t have a phobia of heights, of insects, but I do have a phobia of airplanes. There are two solutions : either I take a medicine, or I have a drink!“, explained the one who shares the life of Bertrand Lacherie.
