Elton John has announced the dates for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour. He appears in Frankfurt and Leipzig.
Superstar Elton John (74) has announced the final dates of his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour”. The British singer will start the European part of the tour in Frankfurt on May 27, 2022 and will also perform in Leipzig two days later. Shows in Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, France and the UK are then planned before starting on July 15 with performances in the US and Canada.
“Hello, all of you wonderful fans out there. I come to you today with an announcement that I have worked towards all my life: The shows that I announce today will be my last tour dates in North America and Europe”, Elton John explained on social media.
“Most spectacular production I’ve ever had”
The singer promised to offer the fans the “greatest possible”, he would do his best, “with the most spectacular production I’ve ever had” and “play in places that have meant so much to me throughout my career, whether next summer in Frankfurt or in the legendary Dodger Stadium for the grand finale in the USA, I can’t wait to see you all on the road one last time “. He added, “This has been an incredible tour so far, full of amazing highs and I look forward to making even more wonderful memories with you guys on these final shows.” In 2023 Elton John wants to play the last concerts in New Zealand and Australia.
