“Sophia Thomalla should take a normal man”

Elton and Sophia Thomalla like to squabble in front of the camera. When it comes to love, the moderator has a very clear opinion about his colleague, which he informs GALA without hesitation.
Sophia Thomalla, 31, giving a counter is quite a challenge. The model is pretty tough and always comes up with the right line. Not everyone can keep up – but Elton, 50, can. In the previous episode “Schlag den Star”, Sophia competed against Evelyn Burdecki, 33, and was able to take the suitcase home with her at the end.
Elton made it that easy for the daughter of actress Simone Thomalla, 56, but not. When everyone thought that Sophia had already won, he draws attention to a mistake in the match point game. The last round has to be repeated, which Sophia finally decides for herself.

But that wasn’t the only thing that annoyed Elton Sophia that evening. Before that, the moderator allowed himself a saying in the direction of her love life. “Bad luck in the game, no problem. That’s why I’m lucky in love”, Sophia makes fun of herself. Elton comments: “Some say so … Well, ok … I can do that.”
Elton explains this situation to GALA at the charity game “Kicken mit Herz” on Sunday (September 5, 2021): “It’s fun with a little swipe. But since we’ve known each other for a long time, we both don’t take it badly.”
The right man for Sophia Thomalla
And the next swipe is not long in coming: “I wish Sophia Thomalla all the best. I wish her that she finally finds the right one. She should take a normal man – not a musician, not a footballer. The gardener next door might be just the thing. “
Yes, Sophia Thomalla has had quite a few failed relationships. From 2011 to 2015 she was in a relationship with the “Rammstein” singer Till Lindemann, 58, and then even married to the Norwegian singer Andy LaPlegua, 45. This was followed by a relationship with musician Gavin Rossdale, 55, and most recently with German soccer player Loris Karius, 28. In June 2021, the separation became known.
