It’s official, Elvis “The King” Presley will return to the stage in 2024, with several concerts planned around the world.
Died in August 1977 at the age of 42, American singer-actor Elvis Presley remains one of the major cultural icons of the 20th century. Nearly 50 years after his death, “The King” will make his big return to the stage, with the help of artificial intelligence and holograms, as part of a show called Elvis Evolution.

Indeed, this new show aims to be a “ immersive musical experience », the technology responsible for recreating a life-size digital Elvis, from thousands of photos and personal videos. Everything will be projected on stage, in the form of a hologram announced as ultra realistic.
The first concerts of the Elvis Evolution show are planned for November 2024 in London, and other shows are already planned in Las Vegas, but also in Berlin and Tokyo.
An event concert, but not a first
According to Andrew McGuinness, CEO of Layered Reality, the company behind the project, modern technology has made it possible to create “ an incredible authentic version of Elvis “. Recently, the group Kiss said goodbye to the stage…. while launching digital avatars to continue giving concerts. “ Rock’n Roll never dies ”, they say.
For several days now, Elvis fans have also been able to enjoy, in cinemas, a brand new film, Priscilla (by Sofia Coppola), which looks back on the meeting of the young woman then aged 14 with the world star of 24 years. In 2022, it was Baz Lurhman who delivered his vision of the star, with the Elvis biopic.
