Elvis Presley’s Cadillac to be auctioned soon

Are you an Elvis Presley fan? Cadillacs? Be in the starting blocks to make your auctions! As relayed Autonews, the Car & Classic auction house offers for sale one of the countless cars of the American manufacturer that the singer has owned throughout his life. This time it is a Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham acquired by the King in 1975.

It is on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the birth of the rocker that the auction house is selling this pale yellow Cadillac, in perfect condition on the exterior, but with some signs of wear in the interior. If it did belong to the King, the latter did not drive it for long, and for good reason, he used to give his cars as gifts to his closest friends. This time, in 1976, it was the doctor George Nichopoulos who inherited it. Note that to afford it, Elvis Presley had originally spent 12,512 dollars.

200 Cadillacs in his life

According to Autonews, Doctor Nichopoulos kept the Cadillac until 1986 before reselling it to someone other than the current owner. The height of the story surrounding this car, the man had sold it in 1990… before buying it back. But today, he wishes to part with it definitively. On the Car & Classic website, it is clearly indicated that the car is currently in Sweden, but that the owner will help his buyer to deliver it if necessary.

Unfortunately, the current owner lost the documents that Elvis owned that were in the car, but these would only be maintenance documents. However, the car will be delivered with several photographs, including one of “Graceland” and photographs of the car seen around the world. The lucky owner will also leave with a framed 14-karat gold key, says Car & Classic. Throughout his life, Elvis Presley had no less than 200 Cadillacs. It is up for auction this Saturday. Start at 4.30 p.m.
