Emergency doctor use – forest worker was run over by a tree trunk

An accident occurred during forestry work in Laintal (Leoben district) on Sunday afternoon. A 40-year-old man was injured.

At around 12 noon, a 40-year-old forest worker was carrying out logging work alone. In the course of working with an automatic cable winch, a log came loose and rolled over him. The man was injured in his right leg. The forest worker was found by a relative, who set the rescue chain in motion. The injured person was given first aid by the emergency doctor in the forest and then taken to the UKH Kalwang by helicopter.
