Emergency team on duty – successful lifesaving in Brunn am Gebirge


Dramatic rescue operation on Saturday evening in Brunn am Gebirge, Mödling district (Lower Austria): A Lower Austrian had cardiac arrest in a house and had to be resuscitated.

It was shortly before 9 p.m. when the emergency call reached the rescue control center that a Lower Austrian had collapsed lifeless in a house. A rescue team from the Red Cross from the Mödling district and the ÖAMTC emergency doctor helicopter Christophorus 9 from Vienna were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident. The executive supported the rescue workers and secured the helicopter’s landing site.

Flown to the hospital
The rescuers fought hard for the life of their patient for around 45 minutes – primarily successfully. After the resuscitation, the Lower Austrian was flown to a hospital in critical condition, where the doctors continue to fight for his life.
