The Breton nurseryman had the bad surprise of recently discovering the disappearance of part of his production of Christmas trees. Almost 350 fir trees were stolen from him on his farm, located in Finistère, in Pleyber-Christ, as he announced in a recent post on his Instagram account. It was while loading his delivery truck that Emeric Emeillat noticed his evergreen trees were missing. A theft which is synonymous with big financial losses for this young single dad. "This is obviously a significant loss, several thousand euros", he emphasizes on his latest publication.
Very quickly, this mishap was relayed on social networks and on various media. "Disgusted", Émeric returned to this episode which undermined his activity during this holiday season. He thinks so "to the 6 or 7 years of investment to grow them, it's a long-term job stolen in an instant, it almost makes me want to stop everything ", he explained to the microphone of France Blue. If he announced that he wanted to file a complaint, the farmer also made it clear that he wanted to change his storage location and place cameras there in order to avoid the same tragedy. Fortunately, Émeric Emeillat was able to count on strong support.
Emeric Emeillat: exceptional support
After sharing his misfortune, Emeric was overwhelmed by the benevolent comments of former candidates. If Claire, Pierre and Fred gave him their support, Maud told him of all her indignation: "This is unacceptable !!! Full of courage, we think very hard of you. Lots of kisses buddy." Even the show's host, Karine Le Marchand, couldn't help but send her a loving message: "My poor Emeric, how sad! Courage! I hug you very hard."
Comforting comments for the nurseryman who also wants to reassure his many customers. "I will not let go (…) It will take more to undermine the magic of Christmas."
