For two years, Lily Collins has been the star of the series Emily in Paris. While the series is a hit, it was on Jimmy Fallon’s set that the host told him that fans would love to see his character go to different cities. A wish shared by the main interested party … “Honestly, I’d take her to any city in the world if I could“, indicated Lily Collins before adding the smile to the lips: “But I would like to go to a city where she could wear flats. Because wearing heels all the time… You don’t realize how complicated it is in Paris. I went to the podiatrist every week to fix my feet because I wore heels all the time. Because there are cobblestones everywhere! I had to have insoles made for each pair of shoes. I am not joking !“
In October 2020 for Female version, Lily Collins had assured to adore France. Referring to the filming of the first season in Paris of the series, she revealed: “It’s a city that I know quite well, because I used to go there regularly when I was younger. For my work, but also for pleasure, for example during Fashion Week. However, I had never had the opportunity to spend almost half a year in this wonderful city. It was a really enriching experience, because I was able to taste the life of a real Parisian.“After having revealed to have benefited from beautiful things, the actress had however nuanced her remarks by adding:”I was also able to experience what I call the ‘French paradox’ with certain things that never worked, such as the elevator in my building, the permanent water cuts, the lack of customer service… all those little things that make the charm of French culture.“

If the pretty brunette loves Paris, She revealed to BFM TV in December 2021 that she had had trouble with the numbering of the floors in the buildings. “I get lost. The ground floor, the first floor, the second… every time I’m in the elevator, I press the button but I’m always wrong“, she had assured.
