Emily Ratajkowski struggled with her sculpture dress on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
A new trend emerged on the red carpet at the Oscars: simple but sculptural garments that wrapped perfectly around the body – although not always to cover it. Especially with top models To Emily Ratajkowski (32), the item of clothing she chose seemed more intended to reveal its wearer.
For the Vanity Fair Oscar party, Ratajkowski had chosen a long, white dress by Jacquemus that hugged her body in the waist and stomach area, but stood out like a stiff piece of paper at the chest level. The supermodel’s back was also emphasized by a particularly deep neckline down to her bottom. Since Ratajkowski didn’t wear a bra, the dress offered a clear view of her upper body, especially from the side.

The adventurous dress naturally attracted everyone’s attention and the lenses of the photographers thanks to the so-called “sideboob”. The model tried to temporarily counteract the freedom of movement by actively pressing the material against her cleavage with her hand while posing.
But the dress had a mind of its own – and that’s probably how it was intended. After all, Ratajkowski wasn’t the only one wearing the new sculpted look. Other actresses also chose dresses that didn’t care about adapting to the shapes of their wearers, but rather did their own thing and thus artistically expanded the body.
