Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski ("Gone Girl") is pregnant. The 29-year-old announced this on her Instgram account. In a short video for a digital cover of the fashion magazine Vogue, Ratajkowski, wearing a nightgown, shows her baby bump and covers it with her protective hands. She writes: "Grateful and with the baby growing. Thank you for the special cover, Vogue." For the model and her husband, actor Sebastian Bear-McClard (33), it is the first offspring.
In a related Vouge essay, the model also reveals why she and her husband do not plan to reveal the gender of their child before the birth: "I like the idea of imposing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible," according to the 29- Yearlings. That's why, when asked whether they would like a girl or a boy, they would always say to friends: "We like to answer that we won't know the gender until our child is 18 years old."
YouTube video gives intimate insights
At the same time as the essay, a YouTube video was also published. The almost three-minute long clip provides further intimate insights into Ratajkowski's pregnancy. It shows her naked in front of the mirror, cuddling with her husband or an ultrasound scan of the baby. As can be seen in the opening credits, the film was directed by actress Lena Dunham (34).
In another Instagram post, Ratajkowski teasers the clip with excerpts and writes: "I will cherish this video for my entire life. (…) Many thanks to my brilliant and extremely generous friend Lena Dunham for your imagination and your commitment."
