Will Eminem play his first gig at the iconic Glastonbury Festival next year? British media want to know from insiders.

Eminem (49) is in talks to headline the next Glastonbury Festival, as the “Sun” claims to have learned from insiders. It would be the rapper’s first appearance at the legendary music event. Allegedly, Eminem is already in “advanced negotiations” with the organizers and should play on the “Pyramid” stage. “Eminem is one of the greatest rappers on the planet and to have him on the field would be amazing,” the insider said.

“A really special moment”

It continues: “There’s also a huge nostalgia factor with Eminem. He’s been around for over 25 years and everyone knows his music. It would be a really special moment, not just for him but for everyone at the festival.” Despite a career spanning decades, the rapper has never played at Glastonbury.

The insider further claims that the organizers supposedly assume that the rapper will sign the contract. The British tabloid is usually well informed when it comes to the festival in south-west England, which is one of the biggest music events in the world. The Sun reported last month that the Arctic Monkeys would be playing the festival next year. The event will take place from June 21-25, 2023.
