Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson are making special costumes from “The Crown” available for auction for a good cause.

Emma Corrin (28) and Gillian Anderson (55) support the charity War Child and have special costumes from the Netflix series “The Crown” auctioned off. As the British “Daily Mail” reports, over 70 stars are taking part in the campaign for a good cause.

The “Sex Education” jacket is also going under the hammer

“The Crown” came to an end in 2023 after eight years and six seasons. Emma Corrin, who temporarily portrayed Princess Diana (1961-1997), will wear a green ensemble of pleated skirt and blouse with a white collar for the auction. Gillian Anderson, who played Margaret Thatcher in the Netflix hit, will go under the hammer in a dark blue costume with a patterned bow on the collar.

Anderson will also provide a memorabilia from the Netflix series “Sex Education,” which ended season four in 2023. In it she played the sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn. “I’m donating a very special gift from Netflix for the final season,” Anderson is quoted as saying. “My personalized ‘Sex Education’ American Letterman jacket.” The actress also explained her participation in the campaign: “The reason for this is that children around the world are facing unprecedented levels of conflict. By bidding, you can show your support and help War Child even more to reach children.”

Among the auction items there are other prominent items. Carey Mulligan (38) offers according to Variety a limited edition of the script for “Saltburn” with signatures from the actors. “It’s amazing what the creative industry can achieve when we come together and I hope as many people as possible will choose to help War Child by bidding on these rare items that have been lovingly donated ” explains Mulligan in a statement. Fans can also sign guitars from Ed Sheeran (33) and Nile Rodgers (71), a signed drum head from Coldplay, a “Banshees of Inisherin” script signed by Martin McDonagh (54), a “Banshees of Inisherin” script signed by Jonathan Pryce (76). Evita” script, a “Maestro” book and album signed by Bradley Cooper (49) or a signed Hulk action figure by Mark Ruffalo (56). The “Spring Clean” auction runs until May 16th.
