Emma Heming-Willis gave an emotional review at the weekend. She posted pictures from before her husband Bruce became ill.

Emma Heming-Willis (45) proves once again her love for her husband Bruce Willis (69), who suffers from dementia. After publishing loving posts for Valentine’s Day on February 14th, his birthday on March 19th and the 15th wedding anniversary on March 21st, she is now showing an emotional look back with several snapshots from their years together.

In Bruce Willis’ wife explained in her now-deleted Instagram stories over the weekend that she was caught in an “old vortex of photos and videos.” She jokingly wrote to her followers: “Send help!” In the next few posts she shared some throwback photos, starting with a shot from the “Die Hard” set. In the picture, the couple posed with Bruce’s daughter Scout (32) during filming of the fifth and final part of his successful film series. Emma Heming-Willis marked the location as Budapest, Hungary and noted that the photo was taken in 2012, a year before the film’s release. The actor posed with fake blood splattered all over his face and shirt.

Another photo shows the actor with their daughter Mabel (12), who is sitting on his shoulders. A black and white couple picture in which Emma Heming-Willis gives her husband a kiss on the cheek was also among the retro stories. “A cellular kind of love,” the 45-year-old wrote, expressing that the feelings between the two go deep under the skin. She also showed a video of the action star playing the harmonica. “Just like that,” she commented.

Bruce Willis has retired

The couple met in 2007. The wedding followed two years later. After Mabel they had another girl, Evelyn (9). The actor has three older daughters with his ex-wife Demi Moore (61). In March 2022 it was announced that Bruce Willis was having health problems. His family explained at the time that he had to give up his acting career due to aphasia, a language disorder. It was then announced in 2023 that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. This is a rare form of dementia. Emma Heming-Willis often posts memories of their time together and also frequently acknowledges her husband’s achievements during his career.
