France is going through a dark period. With the coronavirus epidemic killing more than 175 and now affecting more than 7,500 people across the country, the government has taken drastic measures to limit the spread of Covid-19. Thus, a period of confinement was decreed for a duration of 15 days. During his televised address Monday March 16, Emmanuel Macron announced the news to the French without using the word "confinement" considered too anxiety-provoking. "After having consulted, listened to the experts on the ground and conscientiously, I decided to further strengthen measures to reduce our travel, our contacts to the bare essentials. From tomorrow noon and for at least 15 days, our trips will be greatly reduced. Outdoor gatherings, family or friendly gatherings will no longer be permitted. Only the necessary journeys must remain ", declared the president of the republic.
