After a passage through the Ardèche dedicated to the relocation of essential, even critical drugs, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron has planned to go to the Viva Technology fair, at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center (Paris), this Wednesday. Against the backdrop of technological sovereignty, Emmanuel Macron will speak during a round table during which he will discuss with various startupers and investment fund managers on the major current issues arising in tech.

Obviously, artificial intelligence will be at the heart of the debates. The Head of State should in this sense announce new support for French AI companies. “Our strategy is to bring out innovative solutions on French soil and to ensure that we do not depend on other continents to develop these technologies, to control the biases of these algorithms, to use the French language more”said the Elysée.

The president is expected to make a series of announcements, including additional funding for AI startups, and support for French-language databases for large language models (LLM). Emmanuel Macron should also announce certain AI regulatory measures, ahead of the future European regulation on artificial intelligence (AI Act).
