Emmanuel Macron shared with various regional media the famous deconfinement calendar this Thursday, April 29, 2021. And it is divided into 4 major dates.

More seriously, President Emmanuel Macron unveiled to the regional press his schedule in 4 stages, relayed by Point. The only problem is that it may be delayed in certain regions where the incidence rate remains above 400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
First step: May 3, 2021
As of May 3, 2021, the 10-kilometer and 30-kilometer rule will jump. Travel between regions will therefore be authorized again throughout France. Curfew level, it will always be set at 7 p.m. The same day, the face-to-face will resume in high schools; however the gauge will be at 50% of the workforce. Same story for the third and fourth classes. Only fifth and sixth graders will return to college full time.
Second step: May 19, 2021
May 19, 2021 will be a first date that matters, as the curfew will be reduced from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. And very good news, restaurants and cafes open their terraces, but each table will accommodate only six people. All businesses will reopen, with health protocols and gauges. Cultural places such as museums, cinemas, theaters and halls with a seated audience will again welcome their visitors.
Third step: June 9, 2021
From 9 p.m., the curfew passes to 11 p.m. from June 9, 2021. Cafes and restaurants will be able to open their rooms to customers, always with the rule of six people maximum per table. Other promises: the big comeback of sports halls and implementation of the health pass. Its goal ? Allow the French to show vaccination status or negative test and thus, to attend major events (up to 5,000 people). Foreign tourists will be encouraged to come back to our country thanks to the pass.

Fourth stage: June 30, 2021
Joy: on Wednesday June 30, 2021, the curfew will be lifted. At the same time, the government “provides for the lifting of tonnage limits in establishments open to the public”, explains Le Point.
