Driving and charging an e-car is time-consuming, at least for many who have been used to a combustion engine for years. Many public charging stations are needed so that drivers can be sure that they can continue on their way. But the energy industry warns: An oversupply could hit drivers in the wallet.
Energy Association: Germany plans oversupply of charging stations for electric cars
A big advantage of e-cars is the price advantage when charging with electricity compared to petrol and diesel. But if the Federal Association of Energy and Water Management (BDEW) has its way, the cost advantage could melt in the future.
