However, employees are not entitled to the EUR 3,000 bonus. Employers decide voluntarily whether and how much is paid for the inflation premium.
Politicians are only setting the course for this and hope that the special payment will be implemented as nationwide as possible in Germany. Restrictions on the employment relationship are not yet known – the bonus is therefore also possible for part-time or mini-jobbers.
With the experience of the corona premium, however, one can assume that employees with a collective agreement will benefit from the additional payment in particular.
As a reminder: The corona bonus could not exceed 1,500 euros. In practice, however, far from all employers paid the premium or only to a small extent.
