Enertime obtains a new grant from Ademe

The good news is linked this week for Enertime! Energie Circulaire, the subsidiary of the group which develops turbomachines for industrial energy efficiency, has signed a new subsidy contract with Ademe. This, worth 1.5 million euros, will be awarded to its 1.4 MW ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) project in Fouquières-lès-Lens.

The announcement comes a few days after an order was taken for a new ORC turbine in China on Monday and therefore fuels the group’s momentum. ORC technology produces electrical and thermogenic energy from several types of thermal sources, such as heat from industry, geothermal energy or marine energy from the seas.

300,000 euros in subsidies already paid

An advance of 20% of the amount of the subsidy (300,000 euros) has already been paid upon signature and the balance will be paid according to the progress of the project. This project, for a total amount of 6 million euros, has not been completed since it is still subject to regulatory authorization, as well as technical and contractual validation between Energie Circulaire and Recytech. It is in fact the latter company which will be responsible for the construction of the 1.4 MW ORC turbine, intended to recover electricity from the energy recovered from a catalytic oxidation unit, at the outlet of a zinc recycling furnace.

This new ORC project should act as a catalyst for the company’s sales. Indeed, according to analysts from the Portzamparc firm, the three projects subsidized by Ademe could represent 25 million euros in orders by 2023. Thus, invoicing should experience strong growth in the next two years and represent a figure business of nearly 15 million euros. The research office also estimates that, at this time, the company could cross the stage of profitability by posting a positive net result.
