(AOF) – Enertime, a French “CleanTech” company serving industrial energy efficiency, has signed a 3.8 million euro contract with Suez for the installation of a 1.7 MWe ORC intended to produce electricity by using the heat produced by the Carrières-sur-Seine energy recovery unit during periods when this heat is not used in the urban heat network. Commissioning of the machine is planned for April 2025.
This project is the second contract signed with Suez after that obtained in 2016 for a 2 MW ORC installed for the same type of use on the incinerator in the city of Caen.
