Engaged to daughter – Hunter (89) shot groom the day before the wedding

Terrible family drama in western Styria: an 89-year-old hunter is said to have shot his future son-in-law (57). While the police operation is still ongoing, dramatic details come to light: the victim and the daughter of the suspected gunman would have married tomorrow.

A two-family house in Mooskirchen, western Styria, apparently became the scene of a family tragedy on Thursday. As already reported, shots were fired in the house in the morning. A large contingent of police and Cobra is on site and has cordoned off the crime scene over a large area. An 89-year-old hunter is said to have shot his 57-year-old future son-in-law. As the “Krone” now learned from the neighborhood, the wedding of the victim and the daughter of the alleged perpetrator should take place tomorrow. The mission is still ongoing, but it is not known whether the 89-year-old is still alive. Cobra officers were able to rescue several people from the building’s basement, where they may have holed themselves up from the shooter. “Homicide investigators from the State Criminal Police Office are also on site and have started the investigation,” the police said.
