PARIS, May 17 (Reuters) – Engie ENGIE.PA reported strong first-quarter results on Tuesday and raised its full-year 2022 earnings forecast.
The group generated a turnover of 25.6 billion euros in the first quarter, up 85% (gross) compared to the same period a year earlier, while Ebitda stood to 4.6 billion euros, a gross increase of 49.0%.
In the wake of this solid quarterly performance and in a context of persistently high energy prices, Engie has raised its forecasts for the full year and now expects net recurring income group share of between 3. 8 to 4.4 billion euros.
