(Boursier.com) — Engie launches its 2024 campaign for the recruitment of 1,800 work-study students under apprenticeship and professionalization contracts. The profiles requested range from CAP to BAC+5. With these work-study contracts, Engie intends to attract and retain the group’s future talents, by offering them the opportunity to access recruiting energy professions and to participate concretely in the energy transition.

More than 100 professions are offered by Engie, in the technical fields, digital, support functions, including engineering.

Among the 1,800 open work-study positions, the Group aims to train 400 future technicians by the end of 2024 via its Apprentice Training Center (CFA). Engie’s CFA has also set up a system dedicated to welcoming young people without diplomas or qualifications who are determined to learn a profession, in the form of a 7-week preparation-apprenticeship course. Engie’s CFA is present in Ile-de-France and in the regions Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Pays-de-la- Loire.

The positions are open to young people aged 16 to 29 on an apprenticeship contract and to adults undergoing professional retraining (on a professionalization contract). Future technicians benefit from 2-year contracts which combine theoretical training with a leading educational partner and practical training in one of the group’s entities, accompanied by an experienced tutor who is passionate about passing on his knowledge.

Remember that 83% of Engie work-study students find a job after completing their training.
