(Boursier.com) — Boostheat , a French industrial player in energy efficiency, has set up 10 demonstration sites of the real performance of its individual residential heating products located in France, Germany and Switzerland. The first performance measurements of the site followed by Engie Lab Crigen confirm the progress made and the results obtained in the laboratory at CETIAT in November 2021. As part of the company’s refocusing on its thermal compressor and its applications in individual heating and the supply of Domestic Hot Water (DHW) for collective housing, Boostheat is deploying its performance measurement plan in real conditions. To date, 10 individual heating ‘demonstration’ sites were equipped in November 2021 with the company’s latest products, up to date with all the reliability improvement actions developed last year.

To measure their performance in the field and to identify new avenues for improvement, these thermal heat pumps are all equipped with an instrumentation kit intended to provide, at all times, all the parameters allowing fine analysis of the behavior of the heating system. Boostheat systematically ensures that its performance is validated by independent industry experts.

Thus, Engie Lab Crigen (Gas and New Energies Research and Innovation Center), with which Boostheat has been collaborating since 2015, independently monitors the performance of one of its field demonstrators. This demonstrator is installed in a residential house equipped with medium temperature radiators, representative of the renovation market historically targeted by Boostheat, located in Villeurbanne.

The first results reported by Engie Lab Crigen are encouraging and confirm Boostheat’s advances in reliability and performance. Engie Lab Crigen indicates: “New regulation software was installed on 25/10. Since then, there has been great stability in performance. Over the period from 1/12/21 to 11/01/22, the GUE efficiency between 126 and 137% for an average of 131%”.
