At Volkswagen Norway, we decided to develop a office chair integrating all the equipment of a classic vehicle.
Touch screen, electric motor, trunk, headlights, reversing camera, USB ports, horn… It’s all there!
An office chair at Volkswagen?
On Wednesday, McDonald’s unveiled an amazing (and ugly) gaming chair, the
McCrispy Ultimate Gaming Chair. But the fast food giant is not the only one to interfere in this very competitive market today, since here comes a certain… Volkswagen.
Indeed, the Norwegian division of the German manufacturer has decided to work on a brand new product, namely an office chair worthy of the characteristics of the brand’s vehicles. A chair that will not be marketed, but which can nevertheless be tested by customers since it will be present at certain dealers of the brand.
A chair worthy of a real Volkswagen car!
This office chair developed by Volkswagen takes on the air of a small rolling laboratory, the objective being to graft on it many of the equipment and technologies present on board the manufacturer’s vehicles. A way for the brand to demonstrate its know-how in a fun way.
Fitted with five wheels in total, the Volkswagen chair has two drive wheels fitted with 4″ rims, driven by a small electric motor, all with a range of 12 km for a top speed of 20 km/h. a small trunk, not to mention a seat belt, a Volkswagen embroidered headrest, LED headlights, a horn, a touch screen, a reversing camera… All the comfort of a top-of-the-range Volkswagen vehicle in a “simple” office chair.
This should attract the curiosity of many Volkswagen customers.
And you, what do you think of this Volkswagen office chair?
