Eni: memorandum of understanding with UNESCO in Mexico


(CercleFinance.com) – Eni announces the signing of a four-year Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Mexico to identify potential joint projects that will contribute stimulate the sustainable development of the local economy.

The partners also aim to collaborate in the protection and promotion of culture and traditional knowledge, promoting economic diversification.

‘Sustainability plays a central role in Eni’s strategy and goes hand in hand with the development of business opportunities in the countries where the company operates. Mexico is a concrete example of such a model,” said Alberto Piatti, Eni’s sustainability manager.
